Atbara is located 4km from the mill at Carosue Dam.

Geology

Drilling along the highly prospective Carosue Dam corridor has delivered early success, with a new discovery only 4km north of the mill. The target was based off reinterpreted basement geology, which highlighted a confluence of structures in key mineralising orientations. Strong mineralisation was identified in the initial program and was subsequently followed up with broad framework drilling. This drilling aimed to define the greater extents of the host monzonite. The Atbara mineralisation is contained within several broad domains characterised by the presence of narrow quartz-biotitecalcite-pyrite veins and quartz-sulphide (pyrite-molybdenitechalcopyrite) veins of varying orientation.
