Saracen Mineral Holdings Limited will become an Australian mid-tier gold producer when production begins at the Carosue Dam gold project in 2010. Gold will be produced at an initial rate of 120,000oz pa from within the South Laverton region of Western Australia. Saracen has a large and growing resource base. The company's assets form a resource of over 2 million oz across 2,500km2 of world class gold exploration acreage.
